BEAM

  Squat Turn

 

This skill is very similar to the Relevé Turn.  The major difference is that the body is tucked in the Squat Turn.  Begin in Relevé position, and then tuck the body, lowering the hands to the sides.  The hands should not touch the beam at any time on this skill.  Execute a turn of 180 degrees, and then push the knees straight, returning to Relevé.  Be sure to keep the back as straight as possible.
