This skill should be performed the same,
whether on a Balance Beam or on the Floor.The lower, or “base” leg should remain as straight as
possible at the start of this skill, and a true
Handstand
position should be achieved in the middle. The front leg should
lift upward, and continue over the body, until the skill’s
completion, in a
Lunge
position. The head should remain neutral, and the eyes should
focus on the hands throughout the skill’s performance.
